Sean Verna picked up his 1997 Eliminator Daytona a couple of years ago. The Daytona hull is a tried and true performance set-up and one of the most popular on the lakes. Straying from the normal route, Sean's boat eats up the lake with speeds approaching 100 mph without the assistance of forced induction. His boats is armed with cubic inches, 556 of them to be exact! Ron Shaver takes credit for the assembly of the motor using parts from JE, Engle and Crane. The heads are Edelbrock aluminum units. The cam is a roller supplied by Crane. LA Enterprises supplied the crank. The motor dyno'd at 660 hp at 5300 rpm. The outdrive is a Bravo unit with an IMCO shortie directing power to the prop.
Sean spends most of his time boating at Lake Pleasant outside of Phoenix, AZ. with an occasional trip to Lake Havasu.
Well it's summer 2004. Sean got tired of running around
with his friends who had blower motors, so when in Rome......bolt in a 10-71

December 4, 2004. A quick weekend trip to Lake Havasu. Sean was experimenting
with a 30 pitch 5-blade Hydromotive prop. Two runs were made at 117 mph,
followed by an end of the day 118 mph pass!
