Feb. 2003

The warm weather returned this year! We were once again riding all over the mountain in jeans and t-shirts. The weather cooled off just enough to make sitting around the fire at night very relaxing.

Chuck and Patricia once again served as our gracious hosts supplying most of the hardware to set up "Chucks Place".

Donnie and Chuck left Tucson early Friday morning to stake their claim on our usual territory. By mid-morning they're sitting around when they hear what has to be a freakin' bulldozer coming up the road. No bulldozer, just Donnie's Dad and his basic fifth wheel trailer and tow rig! Chuck was talking with Donnie's Dad, Jim, and mentioned something about his truck, which is a 2000 Ford F-350 Crew Cab. Jim pointed out that his Ford was a "pick-up" and this, motioning to the red monster, was a "truck" .

Someone presented Chuck with a "Redneck Wind Chime".
