This wild creation sprang from the mind of Arizona resident John Deporter back in the early nineties (I think!) Pro Mod cars were all the rage. This beast is based on an all steel 1959 Cadillac. The front end was converted to a tilting unit. Motivation comes from a 542 cubic inch Rodeck topped with a 14-71 supercharger. I can't recall what this car ran, but I thought it was in the 9 second range. The was eventually sold. This might have been done to help finance the career of Johns daughter, Danielle who ran in the NHRA Top Fuel ranks for a few seasons.
