There were two Ford Super Stockers at the event. One was equipped with a 427 High Rise engine. The other car was equipped with a 427 Ford that had a set of rare Mickey Thompson hemi heads. The heads were cast from Chrysler hemi heads and machined to fit the Ford block. The intake manifold was designed with the carburetors mounted side by side.
This was one bad Judge! This car was running consistent 9.90's. The last picture is one of the cars brothers!
Pontiac powered altered. This was running some 9.79's at 146 mph
