Well. I went through a bunch of old 35 and 110 mm photos in my scrapbook. Decided to scan them and post a few of them for grins! Some of the quality is lacking, but some are almost 30 years old!

1 & 2 ) Yes, there were even a few Buick funnycars in the 60's, albeit Chrysler hemi powered.

3) One of my best friends cars, circa 1980. A fuel injected Opal Manta and an original 70 Buick GS Stage 1.

4 & 5 ) Buddy Ingersoll's famous turbo Buick V-6 car. Ran low 7's back in the 80's. NHRA wouldn't even let him run in Pro Stock against the 500 cubic inch boys.

My high school hotrod, a 1970 Buick Skylark. Powered by a 350 cubic inch Buick motor. My girlfirend at the time ran it with no oil pressure one day and destroyed the motor. After rebuild, it had Jahns 11-1 forged pistons, a Kenne-Bell cam, Hooker headers, Stinger ignition, an ATI 11" torque convertor and a 3.55 12-bolt  rear. Spinning the wheels like mad, it did run a low 15 at about 95 mph running at Capitol Raceway back in Maryland about 1979.

I attended the Gran Sport Club of America GS Nationals in Bowling Green, TN back in 1989.

4) Capitol Raceway, late 70's. This guy was one of the original members of the Wild Bunch, a group that all ran blown engines and put on a heck of a show.

5) Blown Comp Corvette in the mid 90's.

Some different funnycars I shot over the years from Englishtown to Firebird.

Some dragsters from over the years. Alcohol or nitro, blown or injected, running good or wrecked!

Some various Advantage Sportcat's as well as the crank out of Tony's Baja following a machine shops questionable work.

Around 199I I bought this Datsun 200 SX for $500. Ended up being more work than I originally planned, but it came out OK. I ended up selling to a friends cousin who totaled it within a year!

My bother had this Hydrostream back in the early 80's. At the time of these pictures it had a 115 Merc on it. We're running around the Magothy River off of the Chesapeake Bay. He eventually put a bigger motor on it before selling it for a fishing boat.

The Winternationals at Pomona, around 1990. This was the Arivett Brothers streamliner. It had a blown alcohol motor in it at the time. It was suppose to be the future of Top Fuel racing, but never came to fruition. I believe they sold it after one of the brothers had a heart attack.

Lake Powell in 1996. I still had my little 17' Kachina jetboat. Fun time, but a rough ride in the afternoon! After our second outing at Powell with the Kachina we ordered the 22' Advantage.

Around 1996 I started another project, a 1968 Corvette. It had been sitting at my house for several years at that point. The car belonged to a friend, Michelle, who took the car from her Ex in a nasty divorce. It had sat in a carport for years before we hauled it to my house. Something smashed the hell out of the one door splitting the panel when Michelle's husband had the car. The 350/300 ran OK, but the interior needed some real work. So I fixed the body and sprayed it with acrylic lacquer in the original yellow hue. We ended up selling the car for $3500 and Michelle did split the money with me. So it was one of the few projects I actually made some money!

Oh yeah, the Channel at Havasu!

Real fishing! My Dad and brother caught these stripers out on the Chesapeake Bay.

1) 2) 3)

1) Cliff jumping in Humbug at Lake Pleasant!

2) I really can't believe Tonna got these guys to do the YMCA song in costume at out wedding reception!

3) I had some strange pets growing up!

This was a classic day at Saquaro Lake many years ago. A bunch of us rented some jet ski's. We spent the day trying to soak each other by make some short fast turns. Unfortunately one friend just couldn't grasp the concept that if you let off of the gas, that jet ski doesn't turn! He forked over about $300 for damages to his and my jet ski when we returned them!
