This is the summer 2004 project, a 1967 Camaro. As you can see from the pictures, this car was not in pristine condition when it was picked up! Click on a thumbnail for a larger picture.
New quarter panels were added along with substantial bodywork to get it ready for the blue paint.
The paint is a teal blue with black stripe skillfully applied by "The Bear"
The motor is a 355 backed by a 700R4 transmission. The motor includes Edelbrock intake and carb, Comp Cam & kit, TRW forged pistons, 72 c.c. heads featuring 2.02/1.60 Stainless Steel valves. The rear end is a Chevy 10-bolt with 3.73 gears. As of the end of the summer 2004 the car is being completed.
Power disc brakes were added to help slowing the 1st generation Camaro down. The front end features polygraphite bushing plus new coil springs. More money was spent for new front fenders and rear quarter panels, steel cowl induction hood, new body mount bushings, frame stiffeners a new wiring harness from Painless Wiring.
Most of the interior trim was replaced with aftermarket replacements. Autometer gauges monitor all of the engine vitals in place of the original GM gauges.
