Made it to the dragboat races this past Sunday and got a few good shots.

Prerace show, they guys jump out of a helicopter and come down hard and fast through the lights! The fastest guy stopped the clocks at about 67 mph!

Some race carnage, the yellow boat apparently lost some under water hardware on a run Saturday. He spun it around and hit the island that runs down the middle of the lake. It tossed the capsule off, hitting the ground and then bouncing into the water on the other side! The 3rd and 4th pic are just some other pit shots.

They ran a round of the Super Stock boats as well. This round was red flagged because one of the boats flipped down in the far turn. Driver was OK.

They had some HTM's making runs down the liquid 1/4 mile again. It's still odd to see these "big" boats make runs.

Even saw a couple of clamp-ons :)

Oh yeah, and there was more there than just boats
