Sean Verna recently discovered this
1965 Chevrolet Malibu languishing in Hollywood, CA. He borrowed a car
trailer and made the six hour trek from his Peoria, AZ home to bring it back to
an uncertain future. The car looks like it's in pretty good shape for a car that
rolled off the assembly line over four decades past. A couple of hours of
cleaning made for a presentable daily driver for now. What's in store for this
Malibu? Sean's not 100% sure at this point. Stock resto? Pro Street? Pro
Touring? At this point the only thing Sean has done this far is order all new
Hotchkiss suspension components and a set of custom rims. As he makes
changes, we'll track them here

The car has a pedestrian 2 barrel 283 between the fenderwells at this point. But the little mouse motor did fire right up and run without a glitch. It will be sufficient for now until Sean assembles another motor together.
Standard fare inside, the odometer shows 66,000 miles. but Sean suspects it's turned over once.
The project has started it's transformation!
Boyd Coddington 17" wheels with BFG G-Force rubber will give the car a little more grip.
A Hotchkis "TVS" 2" lower suspension was installed front and back. This is a view of one of the rear's upper control arms.
Definitely fills out the rear a little better and gives the car a better look!
